Following graduation from Law School, Mr. Zapcic immediately began his training as a trial attorney, handling complex medical malpractice and premises liability cases on behalf of several Fortune 500 companies through their insurance carrier. Mr. Zapcic branched out, handling plaintiff’s injury cases commencing in 1984 and continuing to the present. Mr. Zapcic has handled hundreds of matrimonial actions, and truly understands the emotions which arise when a family unit is dissolved. Having been married for over 26 years, and having raised four children, Mr. Zapcic has a unique perspective into the demands on a husband and wife, and the impact of a marital dissolution upon the children. Mr. Zapcic expanded his trial practice into probate and estate litigation, commencing with the infamous Monmouth County case of In Re Estate of Stockdale, involving allegations of undue influence upon an elderly wealthy widow owning valuable property in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Mr. Zapcic later defended the estate of a wealthy real estate magnate in the matter entitled In re Estate of Carl Massaro, involving complicated estate practice and palimony claims by a paramour of the decedent. That case was tried in Hunterdon County over the course of eighteen non-consecutive days, with the claimants receiving less than 4% of their claim from the estate.

Andrew M. Zapcic, Sr. Graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft, New Jersey in 1975, where he earned Varsity Letters in basketball and golf. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was honored with the Spanish Award for Excellence in Spanish. He attended Dickinson College, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, graduating early with a degree in history in January of 1979. While at Dickinson, he was a four-year varsity starter on the college golf team and was named captain of the golf team for his Junior and Senior years. Mr. Zapcic graduated from Seton Hall School of Law, Newark, New Jersey in 1982, clerking for the law offices of Francis Moore, Red Bank, New Jersey during all three years.
Mr. Zapcic is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, U.S. District Court of New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Zapcic is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, Association of Trial Lawyers, New Jersey U.S. District Court, ATLA Lecturer and CNBC Legal Correspondent. Mr. Zapcic was honored to be designated as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney from 1990 through 2004.Mr. Zapcic has lectured as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University and Brookdale Community College on the subjects of Business Law, Advanced Business Law, Constitutional Law and Paralegal studies. He has lectured for ATLA (American Trial Lawyers Association) on the subject of trial advocacy. Mr. Zapcic has also appeared on CNBC and made several appearances on the Morton Downey Show on the topic of legal malpractice. Mr. Zapcic was the host of a radio talk show entitled “The Law Talks”, a non-profit radio show in Monmouth County on Station WCNJ for several seasons. He is Chairman of the Middletown Township Community Affairs Council and Secretary of the Middletown Township Social Concerns Committee.
